COVID-19 Update
Oct 1, 2020
We hope this note finds you in good health.
We are pleased to announce that our clinics are now open for all in-person care services. The Government of Ontario and provincial health officials have announced that patients can access our services for non-urgent care. We’d like to provide you with some important updates on how we are ensuring our services are available to you and your family during these dynamic times.
During this time of unprecedented uncertainty, all of us here at CARE Institute are concerned about the safety and well-being of our families, colleagues, patients partners, and the many friends who attend our clinics.
Our hearts are with those who have been affected personally by the outbreak of COVID-19 as well as the many communities across the country that are facing adversity in the attempt to slow its spread.
For over 12 years, we’ve been honored by the trust you place in us for your rehabilitative care. In this challenging environment, we’d like to provide you with more information as to how we are providing access to our services:
- Safety On-Site: We are following all government and public health guidance in re-opening our clinics for all levels of care (including non-urgent cases). We have made physical changes to our clinics and workflows to assure our patients and staff are safe. We’ve sourced personal protective equipment for the protection of our employees and patients. We ask that all patients entering our offices wear a mask. Temperatures will be taken upon arrival and screening questions will be asked at every visit.
- Disinfection Protocols: Our teams have been trained on enhanced infection control measures and robust policies and procedures have been developed to assure constant cleaning and disinfection of equipment. Plexiglass shields have also been installed at all offices and risk mitigation policies and procedures have implemented. You will notice that our offices will look a little different but you can expect the same high quality care you’re accustom to.
For those patients who would prefer to receive care from the comfort of their home, we are pleased to continue offering Telerehabilitation. Please contact any of our offices for further details to receive our care through a computer, smartphone or tablet.
Our team is passionate about delivering safe, high quality care and ensuring that you have access to our services during these challenging times. As essential health care providers, we are dedicated to facing the challenges ahead and want to assure you that we’re taking every precaution to assure everyone’s safety.
While the situation is evolving rapidly, we wanted to take this opportunity to inform you of our current status and will further advise of any changes should they occur.
Thank you, stay safe and looking forward to seeing you at our office again soon,
C.A.R.E. Institute Team.
